Role Overview

The Business Process Analyst will play a key role in BotCity’s Professional Services team, partnering with customers to understand their operations, document business processes, and identify automation opportunities that create measurable impact. This role ensures that every customer engagement is grounded in clear, actionable process insights and aligned with delivery goals. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity, drive collaboration, and deliver high-quality documentation that bridges business needs and technical execution.

 
Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery sessions and workshops with customers to gather, validate, and document business requirements, workflows, and processes.
  • Map “as-is” and “to-be” processes, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities.
  • Produce detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation to guide automation delivery.
  • Act as the liaison between customer stakeholders - both technical and non-technical - and BotCity’s technical team, ensuring clarity and shared understanding of requirements.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the repository of business processes, workflows, and project documentation.
  • Participate in testing activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
  • Support change-management activities, including training materials, process documentation, and hand-over guides.
  • Track process performance metrics and post-implementation results (e.g., time saved, error reduction).
  • Contribute to best practices, templates, and playbooks for process mapping and analysis within Professional Services.
Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven professional experience (3+ years) as a Business or Process Analyst.
  • Experience with process mapping in SaaS, consulting, or automation projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a structured, data-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, including workshop facilitation.
  • Experience documenting business requirements and translating them into functional deliverables.
  • Experience working with MS Office/Excel, Google Suite, Notion, Slack.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support events and meet the team.
  • Portuguese - Fluent.
  • English - Advanced.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with BotCity products.
  • Experience supporting process improvement or digital-transformation initiatives.
  • Prior experience in a startup or high-growth company managing multiple customer projects simultaneously.
