The Python they generate runs on corporate workstations outside any pipeline, inventory, or approval flow, and nothing in the enterprise stack was built to see it. BotCity Sentinel governs that code where it runs: a script-level inventory of what executes, where, and by whom, contextual policies that allow, alert, or block, and a remediation loop where the author makes the first fix. Security asks whether code is malicious. Governance asks whether it should run, here, by this person. We built Sentinel to own the second question. Today it's Python. Role Overview

The Business Analyst will be responsible for leading process discovery and analysis for BotCity clients, mapping and optimizing workflows to uncover automation opportunities that drive efficiency, scalability, and measurable business value. This person will document and validate client and internal workflows, deliver key project artifacts such as PDDs and SDDs, keep stakeholders aligned through regular touchpoints, and contribute data-driven insights that inform product strategy. This role is built for someone with solid experience in process mapping and requirements gathering (including SaaS products), who is process oriented, communicates clearly, prioritizes customer experience, and builds strong stakeholder relationships, while staying organized and analytical in ambiguous or fast-changing environments. This role reports to the Delivery Manager.

 
Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and workshops with clients to gather, validate, and document business requirements, workflows, and processes.
• Map “current” and “future” processes, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation.
• Develop detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation to guide the implementation of automation.
• Serve as a liaison between client stakeholder, both technical and non-technica and BotCity’s technical team, ensuring clarity and a shared understanding of requirements.
• Maintain and continuously improve the repository of business processes, workflows, and project documentation.
• Participate in testing activities to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutions.
• Support change management activities, including training materials, process documentation, and handover guides.
• Monitor process performance metrics and post-implementation results (e.g., time savings, error reduction).
• Contribute best practices, templates, and manuals for process mapping and analysis in the Professional Services area.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record (3+years) as a business or process analyst.
• Experience with process mapping in SaaS, consulting, or automation projects.
• Experience using MS Office/Excel, Google Suite, and Notion.
• Takes ownership and acts with a bias for action, driving initiatives to completion, taking calculated risks, and escalating when needed.
• Stays coachable and earns trust by seeking and acting on feedback while building strong, honest relationships with clients and peers.
• Puts the customer first while communicating proactively, clearly, and concisely.
• Portuguese – Fluent.
• English – Advanced.
• Ability to travel as needed to support events and meet the team. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting process improvement or digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with BotCity products.
• Prior experience in an early-stage, high-growth, and fast-paced startup environment.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Spanish – Advanced.
