By Aliens is seeking a highly analytical, data-driven, and creative Senior User Acquisition Analyst. to help us scale our mobile growth efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in performance-driven environments, understands the mobile marketing ecosystem end-to-end, and is passionate about driving measurable impact through experimentation, optimized funnels, and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a central role in planning, executing, and optimizing user acquisition strategies for mobile games, working closely with product, data, media partners, and creative teams.

Requirements

User Acquisition Strategy & Execution

  • Define, execute, and scale the user acquisition strategy for mobile apps (Android, iOS and other platforms in the near future) with a strong performance focus.
  • Plan, deploy and optimize UA campaigns across multiple ad networks, such as Meta, Google, Applovin, TikTok, Unity, Apple Search Ads, and others.
  • Manage CPI, CPA, ROAS, LTV, retention, and payback goals to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Conduct channel, creative, segmentation, audience, and onboarding funnel tests to drive continuous improvement.
  • Utilize MMP platforms for performance tracking, attribution, and optimization. We currently use Singular as our MMP partner.

Analysis, Reporting & Insights

  • Track campaign performance using analytics tools, providing deep insights into spend efficiency, user behavior, and business impact.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and executive presentations for By Alien’s board.
  • Run A/B tests and experimentation roadmaps, generating actionable insights and clear storytelling around test outcomes.
  • Perform comprehensive market and competitor research to identify opportunities and support strategic decision-making.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging platforms, and new features across the performance marketing and gaming landscapes.
  • Identify and propose innovative approaches to enhance growth, improve efficiency, and reduce acquisition costs.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Proven experience with User Acquisition, with a strong focus on mobile apps.
  • Expertise with MMPs and leading performance ad networks. Experience with Singular is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and full comprehension of KPIs such as CPI, LTV, ROAS, retention, payback, and churn.
  • Hands-on experience with mobile-first strategies, activation funnels, and performance optimization.
  • Prior experience working in cross-functional squads (marketing + product + data).
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken). Many meetings are held in English, both internally and externally with our partners.
  • Strong autonomy, action-driven mindset, and ability to prioritize based on business impact.
  • Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in mobile gaming, gaming ecosystems, or mobile advertising.
  • Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools (mainly Looker Studio).
  • High-impact growth case studies involving A/B testing, decreasing CAC curves, and retention uplift.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Applovin Ads, Unity Ads, TikTok Ads, and
  • Apple Search Ads.
