Genomics business is enabled by global engineering teams working on next-generation e-Commerce applications and Laboratory information management systems (LIMS). As a Senior leader, you will leverage your extensive technical expertise to understands the current business process, improve and expand end-to-end architecture for a suite of applications in Genomics portfolio in collaboration with other Architects. These are sophisticated computer programs that will be used by our Academica and Industrial clients. The product you design, and deliver is strategic to the success of Genomics business line
Assignment is for 6 months on contract basis and extendible based on business needs and individual performance.
This role reports to Manager (IT Solutions)
Primary Responsibilities:
In this role as Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for Design, develop, deploy, and maintain full stack application, including Browser based clients and Restful Services. Working closely with diverse stakeholders, you are responsible for technical delivery of the product, manage build pipelines and deployment of application on cloud that exceeds expectations and drives innovation. We are looking for highly motivated engineers, who can work independently with minimal supervision, who will uphold the high-performance culture at Eurofins. In this role you will interface with Business stakeholders to drive the requirements, Architects to drive the right technical solutions, Development leadership to influence Engineering practices and delivery of prioritized items
Specific Assignments:
· Responsible to understand and re-engineer the DNA Patho tracker application
· Work with Product owner and stakeholders to develop enhancements
· Work with Architecture team to review the designs and solution optimization.
· Work with Infrastructure teams to drive and optimize the Application deployment landscape
· With strong experience on Azure platform
· Emphasis on design tools and documentation.
· Troubleshoot Problem incidents.
Skills required:
· Experience in building the components and modules in ReactJS, Django, MongoDB, Azure.
· Good exposure to Devops, Monitoring tools and deployment infrastructure
· Experience in Azure Cloud technologies, preferably Azure
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelors or master’s in engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
· Minimum 6-8 years of experience in IT Application/Software development
· Experience with eCommerce platform
· Working experience with Product development organizations of Pedigree
