Eurofins endeavors to develop all of our software applications in-house to service and support our numerous laboratories globally. With hundreds of thousands of clinical diagnostic tests performed every day, the laboratories of the Eurofins clinical diagnostic services business line strive to ensure that every patient, wherever he or she lives, has access to the most specialized and most innovative techniques for diagnosis, monitoring and therapeutic decisions. Such activities require extensive planning and organization which can be augmented using technology.

What business will you support?

Eurofins is developing eLIMS-NG, the ‘Eurofins Laboratory Information Management System - Next Generation’. eLIMS-NG is a comprehensive and integrated suite of tools and applications to support testing business in our laboratories worldwide.

How can you help us? 

As a Technical Lead, you will deliver high quality software (including design, code, tests, document) and accelerate the delivery. We are looking for a software craftsman who can contribute to the development, troubleshoot, test and document enterprise web applications and services.

You will promote high quality engineering of the target solutions, with Agile practices and adhere to Eurofins guidelines in all the phases of the SDLC. Technical Lead will collaborate with users, functional analysts, application architects, deployment team(s) and other stakeholders to design fit for purpose software and features.

Also develop working relationships within the wider Eurofins IT community and with internal customers. Last, but not least you will create and contribute to a good team spirit!

As a Technical Lead, you will actively interact with Product Owners and other stakeholders to:

Estimate complexity and the workload;
Choose the most appropriate technical solution to meet the user requirements;
Define goals, design and develop PoCs to validate the potential of new solutions;
Design, develop, deploy and support IT applications, solutions as per business requirements;
Maintain, modify, optimize and extend existing solutions as a part of support and performance optimization projects;
Work together with other team members (Dev/QA) to ensure high quality of delivered solutions;
Ensure good practices and high-quality standards are implemented and followed;
Mentor 1 to 2 Scrum Teams.

Are you our kind of extraordinary?

Minimum 10 years of experience developing end-to-end solutions, excellent knowledge of .NET, C#, MVC, WCF Rest and WebAPI, nUnit/MsUnit and Angular;
Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical/development lead position;
Strong understanding of software design principles;
Strong experience in designing and working with n-tier architecture solutions;
Experience in test driven development and test automation on all levels;
Strong working knowledge full stack development, frontend and backend technologies;
Good understanding of relational databases (MS SQL);
Good knowledge of Cloud concepts and services (Docker, EKS);
Understanding of object-oriented programming and Object-Oriented Design principles;
Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices (e.g. SOLID);
Able to independently provide technical recommendations and solve technical problems;
Working experience in an Agile practice methodology (preferably SCRUM);
Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills;
Good English communication skills required (written/oral). Knowledge of another language is a plus.

·                     Atuar como Tech Lead para entrega de software de alta qualidade: design, codificação, testes e documentação. 

·                     Impulsionar a engenharia de soluções usando práticas ágeis, seguindo as diretrizes da Eurofins em todas as fases do ciclo de vida de desenvolvimento. 

·                     Colaborar com usuários, analistas funcionais, arquitetos de aplicação, equipe de deploy e demais stakeholders para desenhar softwares adequados às necessidades. 

·                     Desenvolver relacionamentos com a comunidade de TI interna da Eurofins e clientes, fomentando bom clima na equipe. 

·                     Interagir com Product Owners e partes interessadas para:

o                  Estimar complexidade e esforço necessários;

o                  Escolher a solução técnica mais apropriada;

o                  Definir metas, criar e validar PoCs para novas soluções;

o                  Projetar, desenvolver, implantar e apoiar aplicações conforme requisitos;

o                  Manter, modificar, otimizar e ampliar soluções existentes;

o                  Trabalhar em conjunto com Devs e QAs para garantir alta qualidade;

o                  Implementar boas práticas técnicas;

o                  Mentorar 1 a 2 equipes Scrum. 
 Requisitos

·                     Mínimo de 10 anos de experiência desenvolvendo soluções end‑to‑end, excelente domínio de .NET, C#, MVC, WCF Rest/WebAPI, nUnit/MsUnit e Angular;

·                     Pelo menos 2 anos como líder técnico ou de desenvolvimento;

·                     Forte entendimento de princípios de design de software e arquitetura em camadas (n‑tier);

·                     Experiência em desenvolvimento full‑stack e automação de testes (TDD);

·                     Sólido conhecimento de bancos relacionais (MS SQL);

·                     Bom conhecimento de conceitos e serviços em nuvem (Docker, EKS);

·                     Compreensão de POO e princípios de design orientado a objetos (SOLID);

·                     Capacidade de recomendar soluções técnicas de forma independente;

·                     Vivência com metodologia ágil (preferencialmente SCRUM);

·                     Excelentes habilidades analíticas e de troubleshooting;

·                     Inglês fluente (escrito e falado); outro idioma é diferencial
