We are looking for an Associate DevSecOps Engineer to support a strategic DevSecOps and cloud
modernization initiative, working alongside senior engineers on the migration from Azure DevOps to
GitHub Enterprise and on the evolution of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and secure cloud delivery
practices.
This role is ideal for a professional at the beginning of the DevSecOps journey who has solid technical
foundations and a strong interest in GitHub, CI/CD, Terraform, AWS, containers, and automation. Fluent
English is mandatory, and proven experience in international projects, or in direct collaboration with
global teams, is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Support migration activities from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise, including repository organization,
workflow conversion, validation, and documentation. - Contribute to GitHub repository administration, branching strategies, pull requests, and review
processes. - Build, update, and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for CI/CD tasks such as testing, build,
packaging, and deployment. - Support Docker image creation, image push to Amazon ECR, and deployments to Amazon EKS under
senior guidance. - Contribute to AWS Lambda development in Python or Node.js, including integration with API Gateway
and event-driven services such as SQS and EventBridge. - Contribute to Terraform modules for AWS infrastructure and automation, including services such as S3,
IAM, Lambda, and container-related resources. - Review and triage GitHub Advanced Security findings, including CodeQL, Dependabot, and secret
scanning, with support from senior engineers and security teams. - Participate in automated testing, quality gates, and CI/CD best practices. - Create and maintain technical documentation related to pipelines, standards, and migration activities. - Actively use GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT to support engineering work. - Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the broader cloud modernization effort.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- Good understanding of Git and GitHub, including repositories, pull requests, and branching practices. - Practical experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools. - Foundational knowledge of Azure DevOps, especially pipelines and repositories. - Foundational to intermediate knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure as code. - Good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes fundamentals, and cloud-native deployment concepts. - Exposure to AWS services such as Lambda, IAM, S3, ECR, or EKS. - Interest in DevSecOps, secure delivery practices, and automation. - Fluency in English, both written and spoken. - Proven experience in international projects, or direct experience working with global and multicultural
teams. - Good communication skills, teamwork mindset, curiosity, and learning agility.
Preferred Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, software engineering, platform engineering, or
related fields. - Exposure to AWS Lambda, Amazon EKS, or GitHub Advanced Security. - Prior experience with CI/CD migration or cloud modernization initiatives is a plus. - Experience using GenAI tools in daily engineering work is highly desirable. - 0 to 2 years of experience is acceptable, and attitude and aptitude are important for success in this role.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree, ongoing degree, technical degree, or equivalent practical background in Computer
Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
