ALLROUND FORWARDER

CET Logistics BV is looking for an enthusiastic colleague to fulfil the position of Allround Forwarder. The Company is based in Rotterdam and provides logistics solutions for major clients on the Oil and Gas market.

CET Logistics BV is the Dutch branch office of a Brazilian logistics provider with over 200 employees. From our beautiful office building and warehouse, located near to Rotterdam The Hague Airport, we work with an enthusiastic team with the purpose to serve the customer with passion, pprofessionalism, loyalty and transparency!

The mission of this position is to facilitate smooth logistic operations from inbound to outbound. This includes making bookings (air, ocean and road freight), issue customs documents, DG handling and checking, and ensure that CET’s customers receive their product with highest possible degree of service. The employee will act as key interface between carriers, airlines and shipping lines.

The responsibilities are:

·         Plan the collection of cargo and track its receipt in our warehouse or specific delivery address;

·         Issue customs export documents;

·         Clear T1 documents into our customs entrepot;

·         Request and handle bookings with shipping lines and airlines;

·         Apply the correct measurements for cargos under the IMDG and IATA regulations;

·         Plan container transportation from terminal to warehouse and to port;

·         Plan cargo transportation from warehouse to airport;

·         Respond to internal quotations in a timely manner;

·         Process claims with airlines and shipping lines;

·         Ensure timely invoicing through Job Costing;

·         Control the receipt of the invoices of the shipping lines, airlines and transporters and verify            its accuracy and request its payment to Accounting department;

·         Identify best practices and improvements of the internal processes;

The ideal candidate will have:

·         Knowledge of Logistics and International Trade terms;

·         Understanding of European transport regulations (eg CMR, Incoterms, EXA, T1);

·         Knowledge of ocean freight bookings and container transport /load/offload;

·         Knowledge of IATA DG and IMDG;

·         Adaptable, flexible and has the ability to adjust plans depending on urgency of tasks;

·         English proficiency (Portuguese and Dutch is a plus);

·         Experience in dealing with customer service and able to use several communication                        channels simultaneously (Outlook, Teams, Telephone);

·         Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel);

·         Used to work in multicultural environments;

·         Multitasker, stress resistant, transparent, and team player.

Education and other Skills:

·         Haven Logistiek or similar (STC)

·         Assistant Declarant Certification is advantage;

·         English level: Advanced

·         Informatics: Intermediate
