CET Logistics BV is looking for an enthusiastic colleague to fulfil the position of Logistics Analyst. The Company is based in Rotterdam and provides logistics solutions for clients on the Oil and Gas market.
The mission of this position is to monitor the door-to-door process (involving cargo status verification, document analysis, reports, metrics) and keep the client informed with cargo status. The employee will arrange logistical solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner.
The responsibilities are:
Insertion of PO in system and follow up together with Expediting Department;
Open electronic folders with the necessary documents for each process/PO, as well as update the internal system with the relevant information;
Monitor the collection of cargo and its receipt in our warehouse or specific delivery address;
Analyze and solve physical and documental discrepancies/deviations with the supplier and customer;
Issue Material Receipts according to the physical checking of the cargo and submit the MR for Translation and Classification analysis;
Issue weekly reports to the client;
Issue invoices and packing lists;
Request and handle bookings;
Send pre-alerts;
Monitor cargo's arrival at destination.
The ideal candidate will have:
Knowledge of Logistics and International Trade terms;
Understanding of European transport regulations (eg CMR, Incoterms, EXA, T1);
Knowledge of ocean freight bookings and container transport / load / offload;
Knowledge of IATA DG and IMDG;
Adaptable, flexible and has the ability to adjust plans depending on urgency of tasks;
English proficiency (Portuguese and Dutch is a plus);
Experience in dealing with customer service and able to use several communication channels simultaneously (Outlook, Teams, Telephone);
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel);
Used to work in multicultural environments;
Stress resistant, transparent, and team player;
