HR Release Manager

The Eye Candy Solutions is looking for an HRIS Release Manager to lead the delivery, governance, and coordination of SAP SuccessFactors and HR Payroll system releases for a prestigious international client.

We are seeking a proactive and technically fluent professional with deep experience in SAP SuccessFactors, HR/payroll systems, and release governance frameworks. The selected candidate will drive end-to-end release planning, vendor coordination, and compliance assurance, operating across business and technology functions.

The selected candidate will ensure the controlled, secure, and efficient rollout of new releases, drive compliance with GDPR, and lead cross-functional collaboration across IT, HR, and business stakeholders. Experience working in French payroll and regulatory contexts will be highly valued.

🔧Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage release cycles for SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HR Payroll
  • Lead execution of change management procedures, including CAB approvals and impact assessments
  • Ensure compliance with data protection policies, including GDPR-compliant retention and purging practices
  • Coordinate with SAP vendors, managing service delivery and roadmap execution
  • Align with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to deploy functional updates and regulatory changes
  • Oversee UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure issue resolution before production deployment
  • Maintain rigorous release documentation, including logs, rollback plans, and audit trails
  • Support global stakeholders, providing structured updates and managing expectations
  • Ensure visibility and alignment across workstreams using a structured release calendar
  • Promote continuous improvement by identifying automation and system optimization opportunities

✒️ Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in HRIS release management, ideally within SAP SuccessFactors or SAP HR Payroll environments
  • Demonstrated involvement in end-to-end release cycles, including planning, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
  • Solid background in HR and payroll systems, preferably in French regulatory contexts
  • Hands-on experience collaborating with SAP vendors, managing issue resolution, release scheduling, and service delivery alignment
  • Previous exposure to multinational program environments, working across distributed and cross-functional teams
  • Practical experience in applying change governance procedures (e.g., CAB processes, impact analysis, approvals)
  • Working knowledge of data protection standards, with emphasis on GDPR compliance and data lifecycle management

📍 Location: Lisbon or Oporto (Hybrid – Portugal-based)
🌐 Language: English mandatory; French is a strong plus
