We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team and support the design, development, and optimization of custom SAP solutions in a dynamic enterprise environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality ABAP and SAP Fiori/UI5 developments, supporting system integrations, and contributing to SAP S/4HANA migration and enhancement initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with the ability to collaborate closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient, and well-documented technical solutions, while ensuring performance, stability, and adherence to SAP development best practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows
Develop and optimize SAP Fiori/UI5 applications
Create and maintain BAPIs, RFCs, and web services for system integrations
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to ABAP development standards
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in existing ABAP codebase
Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Support SAP S/4HANA migration and optimization initiatives
Document technical specifications and maintain development documentation
Participate in system upgrades and enhancement pack implementations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on ABAP development experience
Strong expertise in ABAP Objects, ABAP for HANA, and CDS views
Experience with SAP S/4HANA (minimum 2 years preferred)
Proficiency in SAP Fiori/UI5 development
Solid understanding of integration technologies (IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, OData services)
Experience with ABAP debugging, performance tuning, and optimization
Knowledge of SAP modules: MM, SD, FI/CO (at least two)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
SAP certification in ABAP development
Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
