Junior BI & Data Analyst

Are you eager to explore the world of data and make a real impact through analytics? At Nexer, we’re looking for a passionate and motivated Junior BI & Data Analyst to join our Data, AI, and Governance team 😎.

This is a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their data journey who’s interested in both data visualization and data engineering. You’ll start by building dashboards and reports in Power BI, but you'll also get exposure to ETL processes, data modeling, and cloud tools like Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory.

You'll work alongside experienced consultants and engineers on real-world projects for clients across various industries – learning fast, gaining hands-on experience, and growing into the data professional you aspire to be.
 
🌟 On a typical day, you will:

• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
• Assist in data preparation and ETL processes, working with tools like Azure Data Factory, Dataflows, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and engineers to understand client data needs and deliver accurate insights.
• Help document BI and data processes and support users in adopting the solutions.
• Learn how to work with data models and gain experience using SQL and cloud-based tools.
• Develop a strong understanding of how raw data becomes valuable information.

💰 Salary range:

CLT: R$ 3.600,00 to R$ 4.000,00

✅ What we're looking for:

• One year of professional relevant experience
• A strong interest in data analytics and curiosity about data engineering.
• Some experience or coursework in Power BI, Excel, or SQL is a plus – but motivation to learn is key!
• Willingness to explore cloud technologies like Azure, Synapse, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Attention to detail, willingness to ask questions, and drive to solve problems.
• Great collaboration and communication skills – we love people who share what they learn.

🧠 Requirements:

We’re not expecting you to know everything on day one — but you should bring a strong foundation and a desire to grow. Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related fields.
• Basic experience with Power BI, Excel, or similar tools for analysis and visualization.
• Foundational understanding of SQL and data manipulation.
• Interest in learning about cloud data platforms, especially within the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Fabric, Synapse, etc.).
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to understand business needs through data.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills – you’ll work closely with internal teams and clients.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Python or data transformation tools is a plus, but not required.

It will be considered a plus:

• Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-300, DP-600).
• Knowledge in Python/PySpark/Scala and Microsoft products (ERP, CRM)
• Proficiency in English.
