Senior Solutions Architect (BRL 24K/month)

We are seeking an IT Solutions Architect with solid experience in the financial or capital markets to work on the structuring of a trading platform for energy assets.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and implementation of electronic trading systems, investment platforms, or critical infrastructures for the financial market. Their knowledge of AWS and Java will be essential for creating robust, scalable, and secure architectures, ensuring the platform's reliability and regulatory compliance.

SCOPE

Design and document the system architecture for a new electronic trading platform for energy assets.
Lead technological decisions, ensuring the scalability, resilience, and security of the solution.
Define and implement system integration strategies with players in the financial market and trading infrastructure (e.g., FIX APIs, WebSockets, asynchronous messaging).
Maximize the efficiency of available computing resources in a Cloud Computing environment.
Develop and maintain best architectural practices, ensuring alignment with financial market regulations and international security standards.
Evaluate and manage technical debts, balancing cost, risk, and timeline.
Monitor the market to identify new technologies and solutions applicable to the trading platform.
Conduct proof of concepts and tests of new technologies before adoption.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Solid experience in solution architecture for the financial market, capital markets, or investment platforms.
Deep knowledge of AWS (containers - Fargate, serverless - Lambda, RDS - Postgres/Aurora).
Proficiency in Java and frameworks associated with high-performance and low-latency applications.
Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
Familiarity with messaging protocols and solutions for electronic trading (FIX, WebSockets, Kafka).
Experience in implementing scalable, resilient, and secure solutions for regulated markets.
Strategic vision and ability to align with business needs.
Communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
Innovative and proactive mindset to explore new technological solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience in developing electronic trading applications, capital markets, or investment platforms.
Experience in software architecture design for high-availability systems.
Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), management tools (Jira, Miro), and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
Fluent English for communication with international stakeholders.
