🎯 We're Hiring | Head of Interpreting

🌎 Location: Remote

We’re looking for an experienced and driven Head of Interpreting to lead and scale our interpreting services. This is a growing service line, and we need a leader who can manage both the commercial and operational aspects with excellence.

If you have a strong background in on-site interpreting, VRI (Video Remote Interpreting), and OPI (Over-the-Phone Interpreting) — and are ready to take ownership of this business unit — this role is for you.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and grow the interpreting services division, developing strategies to scale operations and revenue.

Oversee the end-to-end delivery of interpreting services, ensuring high quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Manage and optimize workflows for all interpreting modes: on-site, VRI, and OPI.

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop service offerings and drive new business.

Manage interpreter recruitment, onboarding, and quality assurance processes.

Implement and maintain interpreting management systems to streamline scheduling, delivery, and reporting.

Monitor KPIs related to service quality, interpreter utilization, client satisfaction, and profitability.

Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and operational plans for the interpreting service line.

Build and lead a high-performing interpreting operations team.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in managing commercial and operational aspects of interpreting services.

Deep knowledge of all interpreting delivery models: scheduled on-site, VRI, and OPI.

Hands-on experience with interpreting management systems and related technologies.

Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to scale a service line effectively.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and client services.

Results-driven mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Language Services, or related fields (Master’s degree is a plus).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
