At AllieHealth, a US-based seed stage SaaS company, we are building software solutions to 10x the experience of U.S. senior living communities. We are small but mighty, a team of 7 passionate problem solvers.
We are in the early stages of product market fit. Currently, we have two finished products in the market and one new product in the pipeline, all laser-focused on helping senior living operators create quantifiable bottom-line improvements while easing the stress and eliminating time waste for their staff.
We currently have web and mobile applications (on iOS and Android) and are developing hardware that will integrate with them. Some of the problems we are working on are building new products from the ground up, dealing with calendar-like data, building out analytics dashboards that are very performant and user-friendly, and suggesting behavior changes using heuristics and basic AI integrations.
We are looking for a product designer, our first one (and a fierce problem solver) to join our team, who is ready to delight the aging care communities and 10x their experience (caregiver, family, residents, family, operators, and owners) at a quickly growing US tech startup.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will define and lead the design of experiences across two of our products—Care Revenue and Scheduling—addressing how schedules are managed and improving senior living operators' daily lives.
- You’ll be responsible for taking ideas from concept to completion, working in a fast-paced startup environment, and proactively maintaining the source of truth figma files across our product offerings.
- Conduct and manage the full research process from planning and scheduling to execution and synthesis, quickly becoming an expert on user needs, behaviors and pain points. You’ll lead usability testing sessions, gathering feedback and information to vet and refine your designs, building experiences that resonate with our target audience.
- Maintain a scrappy attitude toward the product development process. Flexibility and a willingness to pivot are key in our fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate closely with our CEO to iterate on designs—crafting low and high-fidelity screens—ensuring close alignment with product requirements, long-term strategy, and business goals.
- You will work closely with engineers, ensuring that designs are feasible, scoped appropriately, and account for edge cases and error states. Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate is crucial.
- In this early-stage environment, you’ll need to be adept at prioritizing tasks and projects ruthlessly to focus on what will drive the most value for our users and business.
- Help establish and maintain a consistent design language and component library to ensure a cohesive experience across all our products.
- Own, cultivate and refine the AllieHealth brand (conceptually and physically). Contribute to the overall brand experience by refining the logo, evolving the visual design system (colors, typography, etc), ensuring that our external presentation is user-friendly and aligns with our brand ethos. Create and maintain brand and marketing materials such as pitch decks, posters, fliers, and business cards.
