Human Resources Director | Brazil & International

JOB PURPOSE:

The Human Resources Director will be a member of the Executive Committee and reports directly to the Group CEO. This senior executive role will have full responsibility for Qintess´ human resources capabilities, outlining the company's people strategic vision, implementing the strategy, and ensuring that the workforce is engaged, prepared motivated and aligned with the company's business needs and goals. She/He will have full accountability for the performance of Human Resources initiatives in terms of talent acquisition, human development, training & education, compensation plans, career, performance evaluation, ESG, cultural engagement as well as other HR disciplines related to the role. In addition, he/she needs to demonstrate knowledge and experience in payroll & people administration to work close of these areas. Human Resource Director will need to partner with all Senior Leadership teams to orchestrate efforts to drive initiatives through the Corporate Human Resources Strategy and will have to demonstrate mature leadership, strong change management and people skills. The company is headquartered in São Paulo, so residency in the city is a must.

 

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Spearhead the establishment of a globally recognized workforce, supporting the ongoing rapid expansion of the business on a global scale.
  • Identify avenues to optimize fundamental HR initiatives, ensuring increased efficiency and scalability. Introduce flexible systems tailored to the dynamic needs of our geographically dispersed workforce.
  • Take the lead in implementing both global and local HR programs and processes, including talent acquisition, talent management, succession planning, performance management, development planning, and compensation planning.
  • Supervise the enhancement of global HR policies, ensuring not only compliance but also equity, promoting diversity and inclusion at every level of our organization.
  • Nurture and preserve Qintess' unique culture, emphasizing collaboration, innovation, accountability, and inclusivity, with a focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) responsibilities. Drive initiatives that elevate employee engagement and foster a positive work atmosphere.
  • Work closely with Qintess´ executive team to shape HR and People strategies that align seamlessly with Qintess' broader business objectives. Provide essential guidance in talent acquisition, development, and retention, ensuring alignment with our trajectory of growth.
  • Structure training and technical and behavioral development programs for employees from different areas of the company, through alignment to the present and the future business needs, with the purpose to develop the company´s talents.
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of HR strategies and provide regular reports to leadership.
  • Take charge of the performance management program by structuring processes and preparing managers and collaborators in accordance with Qintess' guidelines.
Requirements

  • Technology Sector Expertise: Specific experience in the technology sector is an important differentiator.
  • Demonstrated experience in both public and private sector environments is required.

  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to align HR capabilities with organizational objectives and contribute to the overall business strategy.
  • Technology: Proficient in HR software and tools to support process digitalization and efficiency.
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal stakeholders, candidates, and external partners.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of hands-on managerial expertise in employee and leadership development, HR operations, and compliance, ideally within high-growth tech or professional service domains, both for local and international markets.
  • Bachelor's Degree or other advanced degree in business areas.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Portuguese. Spanish is desired.
  • Proven experience leading teams in different geographies.
