🎯 Job Mission Lead the expansion of the Food Safety, Supply Chain, and Social Responsibility certification verticals at QMS, by developing a portfolio of internationally recognized schemes, supporting commercial teams across regions, coordinating client projects, and acting as a strategic focal point with partners, scheme owners, and internal technical departments.
🧩 Key Responsibilities 🌍 Program Strategy & Development • Act as the owner of the Food, Supply Chain & Social vertical at QMS, aligned with the company’s strategic vision. • Define the roadmap for new schemes (e.g., FSSC 22000, BRCGS, GLOBALG.A.P., GMP+, IFS Food, SQF, PRIMUS, SA8000, SMETA, BSCI). • Support the development of scopes for new accreditations and strategic partnerships.
✅ Ideal Candidate Profile • Degree in Production Engineering, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration, or related fields. • Experience in certification bodies or third-party audits, especially in the food and supply chain industry. • Strong technical-commercial understanding of GFSI schemes (IFS, BRCGS, FSSC, ISO 22000, HACCP). • Familiarity with or willingness to be trained in social audits (BSCI, SMETA, SA8000). • Independent professional with strategic thinking, business acumen, and growth mindset. • Fluent in English. Spanish is a plus.
📈 Business Development • Develop commercial processes to build technical proposals tailored to each segment (industry, retail, supply chain). • Conduct client and prospect meetings with a consultative, opportunity-generation approach. • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to structure campaigns and technical materials.
🤝 Stakeholder Engagement • Serve as the liaison between sales, technical, marketing, and quality/accreditation departments. • Represent QMS in key industry events (e.g., ANUTEC, FSSC events, SEDEX Forum). • Coordinate with scheme owners (FSSC, IFS, BRCGS, etc.) to ensure commercial and technical alignment.
📊 Management & KPIs • Manage OKRs and quarterly goals for the vertical. • Prepare executive presentations and reports to track progress of the 1, 3, and 5-year strategic plan. • Identify and prioritize market gaps and regional opportunities based on benchmarks and market data.
