Senior Java Backend Engineer (Internacional)

We are an IT consultancy company based in Gothenburg looking for experienced Java Backend Developers to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strong foundation in backend development, coupled with experience in Linux and AWS Serverless. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that align with our clients’ goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend applications, ensuring high performance and
  scalability.
• Optimize and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS Serverless ensuring high availability,
  performance, and cost-efficiency.
• Work within Agile/Scrum environments, closely collaborating with cross-functional teams to
  deliver high-quality products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production and pre-production environments,
  ensuring smooth and efficient operation.

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in full-stack development or similar.
• Experience of Java and Spring Boot as it’s vital in this role and you will have great use of basic Linux skills.
• However, we also recognize experience through own hobby projects, and we want you to be interested in writing algorithms and efficient code.
• Knowledge in following techniques: REST, JMS, PostgreSQL, Liquibase, Asynchronous programming, Docker, Git, Test automation frameworks and application security.
• Experience with Serverless using AWS Lambda
• Experience with micro service architecture and AWS cloud services
