About the role

The Safety Analyst is responsible for strengthening Billor’s overall safety performance by ensuring compliance with FMCSA regulations, improving driver behavior, and supporting a culture of safety across all operations. This role focuses on enhancing our CSA scores, implementing structured safety policies, conducting field visits, and representing Billor in key industry and safety associations.

The ideal candidate combines regulatory expertise with strong communication and leadership skills, capable of engaging drivers and operational staff in continuous improvement initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze FMCSA/CSA scores, identifying trends and implementing targeted improvement strategies.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and driver performance evaluations across all delivery centers.
  • Develop, implement, and update company safety policies and procedures to align with FMCSA standards and Billor’s operational goals.
  • Lead corrective action and coaching sessions following safety events, violations, or accidents.
  • Work closely with operations and dispatch teams to ensure adherence to HOS, vehicle maintenance, and compliance standards.
  • Represent Billor at safety meetings, local transportation associations, and industry networking events to stay updated on best practices and regulatory changes.
  • Support incident investigations and follow-up plans to prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare regular safety performance reports and communicate progress to leadership.
