About the role
The Billor Semi Truck and Trailer Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of semi-truck units and trailers used within the Billor platform fleet. This role ensures that all equipment meets Billor’s standardized inspection requirements by accurately assessing vehicle condition, documenting findings, and providing detailed photographic and written reports.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive inspections of semi-truck units and trailers in accordance with Billor’s standardized inspection criteria.
- Evaluate the overall condition, safety, and functionality of truck units and trailers, including mechanical, structural, and cosmetic components.
- Capture clear, accurate photographs of inspected equipment to document condition and support inspection findings.
- Prepare detailed written descriptions and reports verifying the condition of trucks and trailers.
- Identify defects, damages, safety concerns, and non-compliance issues, and accurately record findings.
- Ensure inspection data is properly uploaded and submitted through the Billor platform in a timely manner.
- Maintain consistency, accuracy, and professionalism in all inspection documentation.
- Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and inspection procedures.
- Communicate clearly with fleet stakeholders regarding inspection results when necessary.
